Elizabeth graduated from University of Queensland’s medical school in 2009 and has worked in rural and regional Queensland while gaining her fellowship as a GP. While she loved the quieter lifestyle and laidback people, Elizabeth has now returned to Brisbane to be closer to family since having her daughter.
Elizabeth loves being a GP because it allows her to meet all sorts of interesting people and help them with their medical questions.
She enjoys all aspects of general practice, especially family medicine, aged care and palliative care, women’s health (including antenatal care and contraceptive implants), and preventative medicine to keep people out of hospital.
Away from general practice, Elizabeth’s one-year-old daughter keeps her busy. She also enjoys crocheting, singing, playing piano, and participating in Park Run. Elizabeth also helped her legally blind husband start a baking business, which she found very rewarding.

Linda is a highly skilled and thorough general practitioner with a strong passion for providing high-quality care to her patients. She holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy and Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Queensland where she was awarded an Honours degree. She undertook further training in Emergency and Intensive Care at Princess Alexandra Hospital before being selected into General Practice training. She completed her General Practice training working in metropolitan and rural practices and achieved her fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2019.
Whilst working in a rural practice, she developed a passion for the early detection and treatment of skin cancer. She has conducted extra training and certification to detect and perform excisions with reconstructions following plastic surgery principles, especially in cosmetically sensitive areas such as the face. She is also trained to perform minor procedures such as the removal of cysts, Implanon insertion/removal, and wedge resections for in-grown toe nails. She works closely with her patients to develop personalised treatment plans for optimal outcomes.
In addition to her work in skin cancer, Linda enjoys all aspects of general practice including a strong interest in children’s health, women’s health, antenatal care and chronic disease management. Her background as a pharmacist gives her a unique insight into the intricacies of medication interactions, especially in chronic disease management. She is also a mother, so understands the challenges of women’s health and paediatric care. Linda takes the time to listen and comprehensively examine your health and optimise your wellbeing.
Outside of work, she spends her time with her son and husband, who himself is completing training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. She also enjoys pilates, travelling and speaks fluent Vietnamese.
