Doctors

Dr. Dragan Talić Dr Dragan Talić has been an important part of GFP since 2003, providing experience and guidance. Dragan is experienced in all aspects of General Practice & has been involved with training and supervision of student doctors. Dr. Anna McElrea Dr McElrea is experienced in all areas of General Practice, with a particular interest in family medicine, aged care, cardiology, paediatrics and women's health. She is passionate about helping people of all ages maintain their long term health and well-being as well as helping her patients through the tougher times that life throws at us. Dr. Leonie Todhunter Leonie is experienced in all aspects of general family medicine including women’s health, men’s health, children’s health, sexual health and antenatal care. As well as providing home care for existing patients who are too unwell or frail to attend the practice, Leonie also provides continuing care to existing patients who move into a Nursing Home. Dr. Aneesa Taylor Dr Aneesa Taylor attained her medical degree at the University of Queensland before relocating to Cairns to complete her General Practice Fellowship. Aneesa has a special interest in children’s, women’s and indigenous health – she also works at True Relationships and Reproductive Health and previously with Aboriginal Medical Services in North Queensland. Appointments

GP appointments are available Monday from 8.30am to 5.00pm and Tuesday to Friday between 8.00am and 5.30pm.

Emergency appointments are available, and we always endeavor to see sick children on the same day.   Should you require a Doctor after hours call 3397 1875 where you will be diverted to the National Home Doctor Service. A clinical report will be sent to your regular GP.
